I'd like to try and help again, and help to progress some of the human-raised PRs and issues as a priority.
Looking at the number of open PRs, I feel like the number of Dependabot PRs is very daunting and will take a lot of anybody's capacity to work through. So I'd suggest that in the short term we disable Dependabot and close these bump PRs. Later, it might be prudent to re-enable Dependabot with configuration that will be a bit less noisy, but we can get to that later.
I think it's worth noting that the repo has Dependabot security alerts enabled, so if there are any security issues then PRs should still be generated as usual.
I hope this looks reasonable, and I'd be happy to discuss.
