Lol, I did indeed. I think that we should mention it at the top of the section though, otherwise people will just start with the local operations (case in point, I didn't notice the @bors squash documentation is already in the same section that I modified :) ), which is the more annoying option and can more likely lead to git issues. WDYT?

oh is that all a description in a commit message is? 😆 I guess so :) Specifically I was thinking of this commit I approved today which has all the extra junk in addition to the main commit message:
rust-lang/rust@efc150e

It sounds like just setting the commit message will replace everything with the one thing you specify?

I combined my new paragraph and the previous paragraph, and kept the new text at the top. Thanks for letting me know!
