HTML Razor syntax red line even on correct quote placement

Currently, If you type

<link href="@Url.Content("~/Styles/main.css")" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

then there's a red line at the very end of the line. I think it happens because of bad quote placement but I don't see any bad quote placement here.

support for C# code in HTML attributes is patchy at best atm iirc. I can't really envision a robust way to resolve this without using the YAML Macros dependency to augment the attribute contexts in the HTML syntax definition

Is it possible now with extendsed C#, or does the embed always escape too early at the first "?

It unfortunately escapes too early ... The only thing I can think of is to have the escape pattern never match and pop from the embedded C# when a "bare" quote is encountered... (I.e. a quote not inside a method call etc)

Does the Razor embed have to span a single line? It would be icky, but maybe we could lookahead successive numbers of unmatched parentheses to get a lookbehind for escaping.

An implicit Razor embed, which begins with @ cannot span multiple lines. An explicit @(...) can but that is also a lot easier to identify where the block ends because it is explicit 😉
