Having a new line immediately following a `/command [prompt]` style slash command doesn't work

Doing a prompt like this:

 /plan
  - let's not allow the current user to demote themselves from being admin
  - for both the login and add user UI elements, the username and password fields are not full width
  - make sure that every password field has subtext describing password requirements
  - make sure that the backend is enforcing password requirements 

Results in an error like this:
