[BUG]: Code Snippets Loosing Indentation and Formatting on Render

Bug Description

Code snippets, even when correctly formatted—as shown in the image below, which displays a side-by-side preview of the markdown files and their output in VS Code—are not rendering properly on the live site. The same image also shows how the snippet appears on the live site.

Please note that the screenshot was taken from the main branch, which is currently deployed, so it reflects the correct source.

Steps to Reproduce

Preview the file MD files with code samples on your MD renderer, then compare that to the live deployment.

The samples are usable, but a review of the renderer for snippets to accurately match the MD snippets will give better readability for the code samples.
